Thank You for Making Our Blood Drive a Success!

On behalf of Trinity Health System and the American Red Cross, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in our annual blood drive this past Friday, June 20, at the Sullivan Amphitheater.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to collect 24 whole blood products and 8 Power Red (double) units, totaling 32 life-saving units—enough to help up to 96 patients in need. Your compassion and commitment to service are a powerful reflection of our healing mission.

We’re especially proud to share that we exceeded our goal of 20 units, a testament to the strength and heart of our ministry.

A special thank you to Laurie Labishak, Market Director, Marketing and Communications, and her team for going above and beyond—ensuring parking access, guiding staff to the site, and arranging volunteers to assist with donor flow. Your leadership made a true difference in the success of the day.

We are deeply grateful to Phyllis Riccadonna, Account II Manager with the American Red Cross Blood Services – Central Appalachia North Region, for organizing and coordinating the event. Your partnership continues to inspire us.

Our thanks also to the local media for covering the drive. You can see WTOV’s report by clicking here and WTRF’s report by clicking here.

We look forward to future drives being just as impactful. Together, we are answering the call to serve with courage, compassion, and love for those who need it most.
